Cape Winelands Badminton Association (CWBA) is responsible to organise, develop and promote badminton in Cape Winelands (Boland, Eden, West Coast, Overberg and Karoo).
CWBA organises local league matches and championships, provides coaching and training (especially for the youth from previous disadvantaged communities), and assists the youth in attending SA tournaments.
The boundaries of the association are: a line drawn from the coast at Infanta, from there to Barrydale and Laingsburg (both inclusive), then north-east through Citrusdal (inclusive), to the coast at Velddrif (inclusive). The boundary between Western Province and Cape Winelands are from Swartklip on the False Bay coastline, along the Baden-Powell Drive (R310) to Settlers Road (N2), then to the Kuils River Highway (R300) to the N1 highway. Then along the Eastern border of Durbanville and thence a straight line to the West Coast north of the Koeberg Atomic Power Station. Kraaifontein and Kuils River therefore are part of the Cape Winelands. The Subunions, West Coast, Eden and Overberg with boundary lines as indicated in their respective constitutions are also part of the Cape Winelands.
